Four individuals have sustained injuries after a car, reportedly travelling at high speed, overturned in the reclaimed area of Addu City. The incident occurred this afternoon around 16:50.

Police stated that all four occupants of the vehicle suffered varying degrees of injuries. Authorities confirmed that the driver of the car sustained serious injuries in the crash.

All injured individuals are currently receiving medical treatment at the Addu Equatorial Hospital. The Maldives Police Service has launched an investigation into the incident to ascertain the full circumstances.
