Delhi, India – The AI-India Impact Summit 2026 is poised to commence, drawing global leaders, policymakers, technology companies, innovators, and experts to Delhi. The event aims to position India as a pivotal player in Artificial Intelligence, highlighting its role in global AI governance and its commitment to deploying AI for measurable impact on citizens, fostering inclusive growth, governance, and sustainable development.

Artificial Intelligence has emerged as a central pillar of India’s developmental agenda, strengthening governance, enhancing public service delivery, and enabling scalable solutions for its citizens. The nation’s approach prioritises practical AI deployment across various sectors, focusing on user-friendly and widely accessible applications to ensure inclusive and measurable public impact.

Industry Leaders Comment on AI’s Future

Jay Chaudhry, CEO, Chairman, and Founder of Zscaler, underscored the necessity of a zero-trust security foundation for AI to achieve its full potential. “To let AI truly impact the world, you need a foundation of zero trust security,” Chaudhry stated in a video released by the Indian Embassy in the United States. He added that India possesses the talent and vision to lead this shift, noting that Zscaler’s cloud security platform, developed by its engineering teams in India, processes over 500 billion transactions daily, providing crucial data for AI. He emphasised that India’s future growth relies on secure AI adoption.

A participant highlighted the summit’s significance, stating that India, as the world’s most populous country, acts as a “force multiplier for global AI growth.” The participant noted India’s capacity to address pressing global issues, from healthcare to mobility, through AI. Discussions at the summit will include how AI, machine learning, and electronic design automation are transforming intelligent systems, from chip design to complete systems, with companies like Synopsys assisting India in this development.

Mati Staniszewski, Co-Founder of ElevenLabs, discussed AI’s role in fostering inclusive growth and empowerment. He suggested that voice is becoming the primary interface for technology, allowing for seamless interaction across India’s diverse regions, languages, and demographics. Staniszewski cited applications in education and healthcare where human-sounding voice can facilitate communication and learning while preserving trust and nuance.

Pari Natarajan, CEO and Co-Founder of Zinnov, remarked that India is actively shaping AI that is practical, scalable, and human-centric. He described AI as a generational opportunity for inclusive growth globally, with India playing a defining role through its Global Capability Centres, IT services firms, AI-native startups, and strengthened academic research and talent pipeline. Natarajan predicted that if India leads in AI, it would be open, affordable, and inclusive, benefiting all 8 billion people worldwide.
