President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has extended his formal congratulations to His Majesty King Haakon VIII following his accession to the throne of Norway.
The transition in the Norwegian monarchy follows the passing of King Harald V on August 28, who had been receiving hospital treatment for a rare blood disorder. King Haakon VIII officially took his oath of office during a dedicated ceremony held at the Norwegian Parliament today.
