Notable progress since June 2025 includes the return of High Commissioners to both capitals. In a move to restore stability, both nations agreed to reactivate dialogue mechanisms across multiple sectors including trade, defense, energy, space technology, and agriculture. They also committed to addressing capacity issues at their diplomatic missions to strengthen people-to-people connections and economic opportunities.
