A two-year-old boy has tragically drowned after falling into a swimming pool at a resort in Kaafu Atoll. Police confirmed the incident, stating that the child was pronounced dead upon arrival at ADK Hospital in Malé.

According to authorities, the incident was reported to them around 12:54 AM on Friday. Initial information suggests the tragedy occurred when the toddler fell into a pool at a resort located within the Kaafu Atoll.
