President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has extended his profound condolences following the passing of Al-Marhoom Ahmed Moosa, a distinguished former administrative official from Nilandhoo, Faafu Atoll. Ahmed Moosa, affectionately known as Katheeb Donbe, passed away at the age of 100.

In a formal statement, the President praised the late official’s decades of dedicated service toward the development of Nilandhoo. He described Mr. Moosa as an exemplary figure of honesty, kindness, and perseverance, noting that his legacy serves as a model of public service for the entire nation.

Beyond his administrative leadership, Ahmed Moosa was a prominent figure in the agricultural sector. In recognition of his significant contributions to the field, he was honored with the National Award for Agriculture in 1992. The President further highlighted that Mr. Moosa successfully raised a family of educated and capable individuals who continue to serve the country with distinction.
