The Maamingili Police Station has overseen the destruction of a significant quantity of alcoholic beverages seized during various operations and security checkpoints. The disposal took place yesterday under the supervision of a specially appointed committee.

According to authorities, the destroyed items included 1,049 bottles of alcohol, 437 cans of beer, and one barrel containing alcoholic substances. These items were reportedly confiscated through multiple channels between April 14, 2025, and April 19, 2026.

A substantial portion of the seized goods was handed over to the police by the Aviation and Port Security Command. These were items confiscated from tourists departing via Villa International Airport, alongside other materials seized during various police investigations in the region.

The destruction process was carried out in accordance with the established legal framework and regulations regarding the disposal of confiscated alcohol. The specialized committee ensured that all procedures were followed transparently during the disposal at Maamingili Police Station.
