Two elderly individuals sustained injuries following a collision between a bus and a motorcycle in Malé on Wednesday evening. The Maldives Police Service reported that the incident occurred near Dharubaaruge on Boduthakurufaanu Magu at approximately 5:10 PM on September 2, 2026.

According to official statements, the victims include a 69-year-old Maldivian male who was operating the motorcycle and a 72-year-old Maldivian female riding as a passenger. While both individuals were hurt in the crash, authorities confirmed that neither sustained life-threatening or serious injuries.
