Maldives Immigration has announced that passport services will remain available throughout the upcoming public holidays for the nation’s 61st Independence Day. To ensure uninterrupted service for the public, immigration offices in the Greater Male’ area and Addu City will continue operations on July 26 and 27.

According to the authority, while these days are designated as public holidays, service centers will be open for passport collection. On July 26, tokens will be issued from 08:30 to 17:00, while on July 27, service hours will be from 08:30 to 16:00.

To enhance convenience, the public can obtain queue numbers through the QueueBee mobile application or by visiting the offices in person. Additionally, Maldives Immigration highlighted that applications for new passports can be submitted 24 hours a day via the ‘IMUGA’ online portal.
