A 30-year-old Maldivian man has been hospitalized following a collision between an oil bowser and a motorcycle in Hulhumale’ on Tuesday night.

According to the Maldives Police Service, the accident occurred on Nirolhu Magu, near Hahthari Mart. Authorities received the report of the incident at approximately 22:21 on May 28, 2026.

The victim was promptly transported to Hulhumale’ Hospital for medical treatment. While the police have not released specific details regarding the severity of his injuries, they confirmed that an official investigation into the circumstances of the accident is currently underway.
