Maldivian, the national carrier, has issued a formal advisory urging travelers to Thailand to complete the mandatory digital arrival card prior to their journey.

The Thai government has mandated that all visitors arriving by air must submit their arrival information online. According to a statement from Maldivian, passengers are required to register their travel details through the ‘Thailand Digital Arrival Card’ portal at least three days before their scheduled departure date.

The airline further instructed travelers to save a digital copy of the submission confirmation on their mobile devices. This document must be presented to immigration officials upon arrival at Thai airports to ensure a smooth entry process.

This advisory coincides with the airline’s special flight schedule to Bangkok, launched to accommodate travel demand during the school holiday season. These direct flights, operating every Sunday, are scheduled to run from July 12 through August 2. Maldivian previously conducted similar special operations to Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok in January.
