The President’s Office has announced that the deadline for submitting nominations for the President’s Special Achievement Award is set for 2:00 PM this coming Monday.
In a statement, the President’s Office confirmed that all applications must be submitted electronically through the official “Form Submission” portal. The Special Achievement Awards Committee has urged applicants to pay close attention to the requirements and ensure all necessary documentation is included as per the established guidelines.
For candidates applying under the higher education and training category (MQF Levels 7, 8, or 9), specific documentation is required. This includes official letters from the relevant educational institution confirming the applicant achieved first place or the highest rank in their course. Additionally, applicants must provide transcripts detailing their grade point average (GPA) or marks.
The committee further noted that for qualifications obtained from international universities, a copy of the certificate validated and stamped by the Maldives Qualifications Authority (MQA) is mandatory. All submitted documents must be officially certified as true copies of the original.
This year, the President’s Special Achievement Award will be presented in four distinct categories: notable success in higher education and training; achieving the highest honors in international exhibitions or competitions; developing innovative solutions, inventions, or academic research addressing national issues; and productive, creative contributions by talented youth toward national development.
