MALÉ – President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has emphasised that both learning and imparting education constitute a significant national and religious responsibility.
The President conveyed this message today via a social media post, marking the commencement of the new academic year across the Maldives. He stated that the prosperous future desired by Maldivians can only be realised through collective cooperation and sincerity in fulfilling this responsibility.
Dr Muizzu further highlighted that the development of diligent, disciplined, and patriotic citizens who uphold Islamic values and love the Maldivian nation is contingent upon prioritising education and upbringing.
As schools resumed classes for the new academic year, President Muizzu extended his wishes for success to all educational administrators, teachers, parents, and students. He also offered prayers for the strengthening and advancement of the educational system, alongside the nurturing of virtuous, intelligent, and well-behaved students within Maldivian educational institutions.
