President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has extended warm greetings and well-wishes to the leaders of Islamic nations and international Islamic organizations on the occasion of this year’s Eid-al-Adha.

In his official messages, the President expressed his pleasure in conveying these sentiments, noting that the greetings are extended on behalf of the Government and the people of the Maldives to their counterparts and the citizens of brotherly Muslim nations. He emphasized the profound spiritual significance of the occasion, highlighting that the core values of Eid—including worship, sacrifice, unity, and mercy—serve to fortify the bonds of the Muslim Ummah.

Furthermore, President Muizzu called for increased solidarity and compassion among Muslims globally during this holy period. He also offered prayers for all pilgrims currently performing the Hajj, wishing them a Hajj Mabrur and seeking divine protection and safety for all participants.
