OMADHOO, Adh. Atoll – A newly constructed mosque in Adh. Omadhoo, named Masjidhurrahma, was officially inaugurated today during a special ceremony. The inauguration was presided over by State Minister of Islamic Affairs, Abdul Azeez Jamal Abubakur.

The mosque was constructed through the generosity of a benevolent party, intended for the benefit of the island’s residents. The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has indicated that the new Masjidhurrahma is anticipated to significantly alleviate the existing shortage of prayer space within Omadhoo.
