The Maldives Police Service has publicly summoned three individuals for questioning in connection with an ongoing scam investigation led by the Anti-Scam Centre. The summons was issued after authorities were unable to deliver formal notices due to unknown whereabouts of the individuals, in accordance with Article 27 of the Regulations on Procedures to be Followed by Police in Investigating Criminal Cases.
Individuals Summoned
The three individuals required for questioning are:
- Shaafiu Shihab, 33, from Dhaagandukekurige, S. Hithadhoo
- Nadeef Mohamed, 36, from Rankokaa’ge, Ga. Gemanafushi
- Ahmed Adam, 40, from Javaahiruvaadhee, Th. Madifushi
Reporting Details
All three individuals are instructed to report to the Sergeant Adam Haleem Criminal Investigation Building on the 18th of this month at 14:00. They are required for questioning as suspects in the aforementioned scam investigation.
