Maldivian police have launched a search for Abdul Azeez Mohamed, a 64-year-old man from Fuvahmulah, who has been reported missing since November 2023. Mr Mohamed, who works on cargo vessels, was last contacted by his family on 3 September 2023 and last seen by a family member near the Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) in Malé during November 2023.

Search Operations Underway

The Maldives Police Service identified the missing person as Abdul Azeez Mohamed, from Dunfinige, Dhoodigan, G.N. Fuvahmulah. Upon receiving the report of his disappearance, the police service circulated the information to all relevant departments and commenced search operations. Despite these efforts, authorities have yet to uncover any information regarding his current whereabouts.
