MALE’, Maldives – The Ministry of Home Affairs has announced a call for proposals from interested parties for the redesign and development of its official website.
According to an announcement made by the Ministry today, interested bidders are required to submit their expressions of interest via email by the 15th of the current month. Subsequently, formal proposals must be submitted in person at the Ministry of Home Affairs, located on the 10th floor of Velaanaage, by 10:30 local time on the 26th of the current month.
Project Scope and Requirements
The Terms of Reference (ToR) accompanying the announcement specify that the new website must facilitate the easy, accurate, and real-time provision of information to Maldivian citizens, government agencies, and relevant international bodies. The ToR further stipulates that the entire website development project must be completed within 10 weeks from the date of agreement signing.
Government’s Digitisation Drive
The decision to overhaul the Ministry’s website is part of the government’s broader strategy to significantly expand its digitisation efforts across various sectors.
