The Maldives Police Service has held high-level discussions with the Chinese government aimed at enhancing institutional capabilities and operational readiness. The talks took place during a meeting between the Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Mohamed, and the Chinese Ambassador to the Maldives, Kong Xianhua.

During the session, both parties exchanged views on potential future collaborations to strengthen the police institution’s efficiency. The discussion also focused on the long-standing friendly relations between the two nations and explored ways to further solidify bilateral cooperation in the field of law enforcement.

Commissioner Ahmed Mohamed highlighted the current robust partnership across various sectors and expressed his gratitude to the Chinese government for their ongoing support in modernizing and advancing the domestic police force.
