The incident, which took place on Friday morning, resulted in extensive damage to both the high-end vehicle and the public renewable energy infrastructure.

Images circulating on social media show the Lamborghini with significant front-end wreckage after striking the support structures of the solar panels. The force of the impact was sufficient to bend the metal frames of the solar array, causing substantial damage to the system. Local reports suggest the vehicle veered off course after the driver lost control.

While the physical damage to the vehicle and the highway infrastructure is severe, there have been no immediate reports of injuries. The Maldives Police Service has not yet issued a formal statement regarding the accident or the condition of those involved.
