Kudahuwadhoo, Maldives – The D. Kudahuvadhoo Police Station has disposed of a quantity of alcoholic beverages that were under its custody, following various seizures. The disposal operation took place on 17 February 2026.

Details of Disposal

The items destroyed consisted of 126 bottles of alcohol and 122 cans of beer. These had been confiscated from tourists departing Dhaalu Airport during the period between 31 December 2025 and 15 February 2026.

The destruction of the alcoholic beverages was carried out in strict accordance with the established regulations governing the disposal of alcohol and other related items brought under police custody in connection with legal cases.
