Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has announced that this year’s Apprenticeship Program is scheduled to commence on June 22. The company has decided to offer opportunities for 25 young individuals in this iteration of the program.

According to HDC, the purpose of the program is to assist those entering the job market in choosing their preferred career paths, providing them with practical training in their selected fields, and facilitating access to nationally recognized certification.

This marks the 8th consecutive year that HDC has conducted this apprenticeship initiative, reflecting the company’s ongoing commitment to youth skill development and employment readiness in the Maldives.

The program continues to serve as a valuable pathway for Maldivian youth seeking to gain technical skills and certification in automotive repair, marine engine maintenance, and refrigeration and air conditioning mechanics.
