The Islamic Ministry has announced an extended period for Fitr Zakat collection, allowing payments until the last day of the upcoming Ramadan. Collection will be facilitated through online platforms and at designated counters at the Islamic Centre.

Online Payment Platforms

The Ministry confirmed that online Fitr Zakat payments will be accepted via seven distinct platforms. Five of these platforms – Dhiraagu Pay, Ooredoo m-Faisaa, Islamic Bank Mobile App, BML Mobile App, and Avaas App – will be available for payments from the first day of Ramadan until the 27th day of the holy month.

Additionally, Fitr Zakat can be paid online through FahiPay and the Ministry of Finance’s Bandeyri Pay/Portal. These two platforms will remain operational for online payments from the first day of Ramadan until its very last day.

Islamic Centre Collection

For elderly individuals and those who are unfamiliar with online payment methods, arrangements have been made to accept Zakat physically at the main hall of the Islamic Centre. The collection counters will operate according to a specified schedule:
