Elections Commission to Host ‘Vote Preparation’ Family Evening in Hulhumalé

MALÉ, Maldives – The Elections Commission (EC) is set to host a “Vote Preparation” family evening this Saturday in Hulhumalé Phase Two. The event aims to engage the public and provide essential information ahead of the forthcoming Local Council Elections and Women’s Development Committees Elections.

Event Details

The family evening is scheduled to take place at Ruggandu 3 (Gadhiya Area) in Hulhumalé Phase Two. It will run from 16:00 to 18:00. The programme includes a variety of activities for children, stage performances, and prize-winning opportunities designed to appeal to families.

Voter Engagement and Opportunities

Beyond entertainment, the event will serve as a platform for voter engagement. Attendees will have the opportunity to complete voter re-registration processes. Furthermore, the EC will provide information regarding opportunities to serve as officials at election centres and details on various task force job vacancies related to the elections.
