Maldive Gas has announced that the recent difficulties in cooking gas supply have been resolved, and arrangements have been made to ensure all sizes of cooking gas cylinders are available as before.

Speaking to the media, Maldive Gas Managing Director Abdullah Mohamed said that gas stocks have now been replenished and that customers will receive uninterrupted supply starting today without any difficulties.

Addressing the upcoming month of Ramadan, MD Abdullah stated: “There will be no difficulties in obtaining cooking gas going forward. We have full confidence that cooking gas will be available without any issues during this Ramadan, just as before.”

Ramadan is typically a period when demand for cooking gas increases significantly. In preparation, the government has been undertaking extensive efforts to ensure an uninterrupted supply of gas and other essential food items throughout the holy month.
