A 30-year-old Bangladeshi national sustained injuries after falling from a building under construction in Hulhumale’ Phase Two this afternoon. The individual was reportedly impaled by an iron rod following the fall.

The incident occurred at the construction site of the Redwave Mall, currently being developed in Hulhumale’ Phase Two. The injured national was promptly transported to Hulhumale’ Hospital.

Medical Status

A media official from Hulhumale’ Hospital confirmed to local news outlet “Dhen” that the 30-year-old Bangladeshi man was admitted to the hospital following the incident. A surgical procedure has since been performed on the patient.

However, the hospital official did not disclose details regarding the individual’s current medical condition.
