The President’s Office has officially opened applications for membership on the Board of the Local Government Authority (LGA), following the upcoming expiration of terms for three current members.

Prospective candidates can download the prescribed application forms from the President’s Office official website. The submission window is scheduled to remain open from today until July 29, 2026. Completed applications will be accepted at the President’s Office on working days between 08:30 and 12:00.

The LGA Board is currently comprised of six members. The authority is chaired by the Minister of Finance, Hassan Zareer, while Ahmed Nimal serves as the Chief Executive Officer.
