The Allied Hulhumale Run 2026, organized by Elite Runners Maldives, successfully concluded today with high participation. The event was designed to promote a healthy lifestyle and foster community spirit among the running community in the Maldives.

Held in Hulhumale, the event featured four distinct race categories to accommodate various age groups and fitness levels: a 1-mile Family Run, a 5-kilometer run, a 10-kilometer run, and a 21.1-kilometer Half Marathon.

Prioritizing participant safety, Allied Insurance Company provided a complimentary ‘Group Personal Accident Cover’ for all registered runners. This policy offered insurance coverage of up to MVR 100,000 per participant for any accidents occurring during the event.

In the competitive 21.1km Half Marathon, Mohamed Shifaz secured first place in the men’s category, followed by Yusuf Ibrahim and Thitiwat Kusakul. The women’s category was led by Parcharat Chladthoy, with Aishath Jinanee Ibrahim and Aishath Rishmee taking second and third places, respectively.

The 10km race saw Hussain Fazeel taking the top spot for men, while Kanlaya Sankau won the women’s division. In the 5km category, Aaizh Abdullah Rifau and Clara Sarina Asif emerged as the winners in their respective divisions.

The event concluded with a special ceremony where ten lucky draw winners among the participants were awarded a cash prize of MVR 2,000 each. Allied Insurance expressed gratitude to Elite Runners Maldives, the volunteers, and the supporters for their roles in the event’s success.
