Aasandha Company Limited has officially announced a tender for the development of a sophisticated Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatbot. The initiative is designed to provide the public with faster, more efficient access to information regarding national health insurance services.
According to the company, the new AI system will operate 24 hours a day, offering bilingual support in both English and Dhivehi. A key technical requirement for the solution is the capability to accurately interpret Dhivehi written in both the traditional Thaana script and Latin characters, ensuring maximum accessibility for all users.
The chatbot will be programmed to handle a wide range of frequently asked questions based on Aasandha’s official website content, internal policies, and operational procedures. For complex inquiries that the AI cannot resolve, the system will feature a seamless hand-off mechanism to connect users directly with human customer service agents or the company’s dedicated hotline.
Furthermore, the project includes a user-friendly web dashboard allowing Aasandha staff to update information without requiring coding expertise. This digital transformation aims to enhance the ‘My Aasandha’ portal, reduce the administrative workload on frontline staff, and ensure that citizens receive the most current information in real-time.
