Police Rescue Hostage from Male’ Residence

Police have successfully rescued a person held hostage in a house in Male’ City.

According to a message sent to media outlets, the police received the report around 6:00 AM this morning.

Upon receiving the report, police officers forced entry into the premises by breaking the lock and rescued the individual, who was identified as a Bangladeshi male.

Police stated that the victim was taken to IGM Hospital for medical examination, noting that no visible external injuries were observed.
