Mohamed Iqbal, who had been missing after venturing out to sea from R. Vaadhoo, has been located.

According to police, Iqbal was found today morning around 6:53 AM. He was discovered near R. Alifushi, with his dinghy’s engine stalled and the vessel secured to a buoy. The individual who found him was part of a search party that had departed from R. Vaadhoo earlier today.

Authorities confirmed that Mr. Iqbal is in good health. The police extended their gratitude to all individuals and parties who contributed to the search efforts, acknowledging the public’s invaluable cooperation and assistance in locating him.
